American actor Dick Van Patten will join me on Happy Station for the February 25
edition of the show. Dick started acting on Broadway in 1937, and then in the
early 40s on a number of NBC radios shows. The first series he did for
television was in 1949 called Mama which ran until 1957. The role he is most
remembered for is as Tom Bradford on Eight Is Enough from 1977 to 1981.
He also had guest roles in:

Sanford & Son
Cannon
The Street Of San Francisco
Six Million Dollar Man
Happy Days
and many more.

He also had a number of film roles such as:
Soylent Green
High Anxiety
Spaceballs
Robin Hood: Men In Tights
